A brief hour this afternoon at a relatively quiet island, unseasonal highlights included a pair of Shelduck and an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. Little Grebe, 19 Goldeneye and a handful of Teal were more typical of the time of year.
Earlier just south of the county at Shibdon Pond a single Ruff was present with a small Lapwing flock.
